After spending the majority of my life 'down south', the sight of green tree frogs in the toilet bowl and cistern continues to amuse and amaze me.
Yesterday, when I discovered the toilet wouldn't flush, I lifted up the lid of the cistern and there crouched nine frogs -- some sitting on top of each other. The majority were green tree frogs, however, there were a few desert tree frogs as well.
The innocence of their eyes, their glistening skin and their gently pulsing throats continue to enchant me.
