Building sandcastles: Phillip Island

There's something about building a sand castle on the seashore that incredibly relaxing.

Scooping up handfuls of clean golden sand, letting the grains trickle down through your fingers -- digging, patting and smoothing sand to build all matter of creations; all are satisfying, no matter what your age.

A volcano, complete with crater and lava flow; a mediaeval castle with shell windows and doors, a moat and seaweed gardens -- -- --; or a fort built to withstand the incoming tide.

And then the tide comes in and all are washed away. Tomorrow is a fresh canvas on which to create new dreams.
