If you think it needs doing and you're able, do it

Some people are motivated to do things that need doing -- within a community -- without procrastination and with generosity of spirit. My husband Doug is one of those people.

Although we've only been back home in Mitchell for 10 days, Doug has picked up all the rubbish along the pathway between the caravan park and the Great Artesian Spa -- using a special rubbish pick-up gadget he bought recently. He's also removed graffiti from the bridge.

Today his project was two notice boards placed at the beginning of the pathway that links the caravan park with the spa and the township of Mitchell. The boards give travellers up-to-date information about what's on in Mitchell, and the many free and interesting attractions around the town.

I'm proud of my husband!

PS
This blog is a day late because Blogger had a problem. Apologies to all my regular and treasured readers.
